Skating Rink Attendant

The City of Washburn is currently recruiting for a Skating Rink Attendant whose duties shall include operating the warming hut/concessions stand, sharpen and maintain ice skates, assist with light ice-rink preparation and maintenance.  The rink is open seven days per week during the skating season, mostly in the late afternoon and evening, and hours will vary depending upon conditions. Position requires weekend and holiday work.  Find the job description below for specific duties.  Rate of pay: $13.50/hr.

Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT)     (paid-on-call)

The City of Washburn, Wisconsin is seeking dedicated and committed individuals to serve as a paid-on-call Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs).  All eligible applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have valid Wisconsin Driver’s License with a clean driving record.  Selected applicants whom do not possess a valid Wisconsin EMT Basic License will be required to complete the 180hr EMT Training Program and must be capable of meeting WITC’s program admission requirements.  EMTs are required to work at least six,  6-hour shifts per month and receive compensation per each call response. The City of Washburn is an equal opportunity employer.
