VOTING PROCEDURES FOR ELECTION DAY
This video will explain the voting process on Election Day. [The video was made for the April 7, 2020 election. While the ballot and races will be different, the voting procedures will be the same for future elections.] ABSENTEE & EARLY VOTING
As the November 3rd General Election approaches, the City will follow recommendations of the Wisconsin Elections Commission to safely carry out the election. For the safety of the public, poll workers and city hall staff, we are planning to wear masks and have hand sanitizer available and to will wipe down surfaces throughout election day. As more information is learned about the Coronavirus, one general recommendation is social distancing. We encourage you to consider the option to request an ABSENTEE BALLOT by mail as opposed to coming into City Hall for EARLY VOTING. Find details at MyVote Wisconsin. You may need to confirm your voter registration and provide a photo ID, which the link will instruct how to do. The last day to request absentee ballots by mail is 5:00 P.M., October 29, 2020. The first day for voting absentee in-person at City Hall is October 20, 2020. The last day to vote absentee in-person at City Hall is 5:00 P.M., October 30, 2020 |
